Big thank you to Maria Morton who hosted our first series of Memory Bear Creating Workshops last week.
Maria made her first memory bear for her daughter from her late husband’s clothes and since made 15 bears for family members, including grandchildren, as well as 3 for a very close friend.
Maria wanted to share her skills and help others bring precious memories to life with a Memory Bear keepsake made from clothes of a loved-one.
She said, “Making the bears has helped me come to terms with the loss of Ian and given me a purpose during these early months of my grief. I hope you all enjoy making your own special memory bear and I am pleased to be able to show you how whilst helping a very special place.”
