About Bereavement Café
Welcome to Forest Holme Hospice Charity’s Bereavement Café – a space for those navigating the complexities of loss.
We understand that life’s twists and turns can be particularly challenging. Grief is a deeply personal journey, yet it’s one that often feels 
isolating, especially when dealing with the profound loss of a loved one, family member, or friend.
Bereavement Café is ideal for newly bereaved and is open to everyone, irrespective of whether your loved-one was under the care of Forest Holme or not.
Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed by loss or simply need someone to listen, we invite you to take a moment to pause, share or reflect with others who are experiencing similar emotions and challenges.
Bereavement Café offers a warm, relaxed space to share in confidence. It is facilitated by specialist volunteers, who are able to help signpost if you are looking for further support.

Beacon Cafe at Lighthouse
Bereavement Cafe at Lighthouse takes place on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month between 10am – 11.30am.

Beacon Cafe, Lighthouse, 21 Kingland Rd, Poole BH15 1UG
When:
10am until 11.30am
Colin’s Nest at Eagles Mount Care Home
Bereavement Cafe at Colin’s Nest takes place on 1st Monday of the month between 2pm – 3.30pm.
(*except when it’s a Bank Holiday, then it will be 2nd Monday)

Colin’s Nest, Eagles Mount Care Home, 25 Birds Hill Rd, Poole BH15 2QJ
When:
2pm until 3.30pm
Colin’s Nest Café is situated at the rear of Eagles Mount Care Home and can be accessed via Birds Hill Rod. There is limited free parking, with additional on street parking (maximum stay 2 hours).

- Enjoy a hot drink and cake provided free of charge, with other drinks and food available to purchase
- Bereavement Café is facilitated by specialist volunteers, who are able to help signpost if you are looking for further support
