We have a thriving community of volunteers at Forest Holme Hospice who are greatly cherished and integral part of the charity. Our volunteers support us in a variety of ways from taking part in our fundraising activities, keeping our gardens tidy or being involved in our bereavement support services.

Living with Loss is a free bereavement information event for those who have lost a partner or family member and here two of our volunteers talk about their contribution to the sessions.

As well as Charity volunteers, our Volunteer Manager is also responsible for all the ward volunteer, who play a significant role in supporting patients, families and staff within the hospice.
