A dedicated group of family and friends has raised an incredible £13,000 for Forest Holme Hospice Charity after completing the latest stage of an ambitious 630-mile walking challenge in memory of Tom’s sister, Katherine.

Over the past few years, Tom and his team have been making their way along sections of the South West Coast Path, with the ultimate goal of completing the entire 630-mile route while raising funds for Forest Holme.

This year saw the group take on Part 4 of their challenge, hiking from Paignton to Bigbury-on-Sea in Devon and adding another significant stretch to their journey.

The challenge is particularly meaningful to Tom and his family following the care and support Katherine received from Forest Holme.

“The dedicated team at Forest Holme provided Katherine with exceptional support, care, and kindness during her time of need. It is vital that they can continue to offer the same compassionate assistance to others facing similar challenges.”

Their latest £13,000 fundraising total is a fantastic achievement and will help Forest Holme continue to provide specialist care and support to local people and their families.
