Au revoir to counsellor Kathy

Forest Holme recently said a tearful goodbye to Kathy Lett, who has been a counsellor at the hospice for 16 years.

Kathy has been a much-loved member of staff and, of course, a wonderful counsellor, offering hope and comfort for countless individuals and families during their most challenging times, through her kindness, expertise, and unwavering support.

Her impact here cannot be overstated as her compassion, empathy and wisdom have touched so many lives, and her presence will be deeply missed by both her colleagues and those she’s helped throughout the years.

We wish her all the best in her future endeavours, enjoying semi-retirement with her family, and extend our deepest gratitude for her remarkable contribution to Forest Holme.
