International success

We are delighted and proud to announce that Hazel Mack, our Community Specialist Palliative Care Nurse Team Lead, has had an article published in the April edition of the International Journal of Palliative Nursing.

Having initially written this reflection in November 2020 to highlight the impact of Covid-19 on the community when focus was very much on hospital care,  Hazel is delighted that it has now been published and that the impact of the pandemic on our community specialist palliative care team is now recorded and will form part of  the pandemic historical record. 

She said, “I work with exceptional colleagues and their feedback on this reflection has made me feel enormously proud. It really shows the value of reflective practice and also how things can change quickly when needed. What an incredible team.”
