Living With Loss
Living With Loss is a free bereavement information event for those who have lost a partner or family member.
This event is open to anyone in need of bereavement support and is an opportunity to join with others in similar situations and gain valuable information that can help you through this difficult time.
Each session lasts 2 hours, including a 45-minute presentation, with a qualified bereavement therapist leading the session, offering insights into the grieving process and available support options.
Living With Loss takes place approximately every 6 weeks on a Thursday between 10am till 12pm. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided.
No need to book, you can just drop-in – we look forward to welcoming you.

SML Centre (opposite St Mary’s Church next to Poole Hospital), Longfleet Road, Poole BH15 2LP
Parking:
Please note that on-site parking at the venue is limited but there is FREE 2 hour limited parking on the surrounding streets. Alternatively, parking is available in the multi storey car park at Poole Hospital (on Longfleet Road) – charges apply.
Living with Loss – A Virtual Resource
This short video is a virtual version of our Living with Loss events, designed to offer support and guidance to anyone who has experienced the death of a loved one.
It provides an overview of the grieving process and explores the wide range of emotions you may experience. While everyone’s journey through grief is unique, this resource can help you understand some of the common reactions and feelings that may arise, reassuring you that you are not alone.
This video is freely available to anyone in need of support, whether or not you have attended one of our in-person sessions.
