Purbeck Ice Cream’s eight years of support

The charity recently visited Purbeck Ice Cream’s headquarters in Wareham to personally thank the team for their long-standing support of the hospice.

For the past eight years, Purbeck Ice Cream has generously donated boxes of ice cream every week for patients, families and staff at Forest Holme to enjoy. The treats have become a much-loved part of life at the hospice, often bringing comfort and small moments of joy during difficult times.

During the visit, members of the charity team were given a behind the scenes tour of the Purbeck Ice Cream facilities, seeing first-hand the care, passion and hard work that goes into creating their award-winning flavours. The team also presented Purbeck Ice Cream with a special plaque in recognition of their continued generosity and kindness.

These little tubs of joy become moments that families treasure forever and families often remark on how lovely it is to have ice cream available, especially for patients who may have difficulty swallowing.
